Summary:

This article discuses that some dentists break the rules of seeing their patients regularly. The department of health in England suggested prolonging the time of the patient’s appointment, so for adults should check with a doctor each two years instead of one year. Also that is going to allow children who have teeth problems to check their teeth regularly. In addition, adults have a chance to check with a doctor every three months if they have a serious problems; also people who are not have risk problems can check with a doctor every two years. Furthermore, the department of dentists asks the dentists to have new equipment to promote the quality of taking care of the patients.

Reaction:
I believe that the article was written very well by the author, so I enjoyed reading it. I was happy to read this article because there are many points that the author discusses. For example there are some dentists who see the patients more often because they want to check their teeth; also, some patients come to the doctor so often because they want their teeth examined before something happens to them, such as gum disease, or catch the problem early before it accrues. However, I think the author should tell what exactly the problems are that make dentists viable to check regularly with adults. Is that because the department of dentistry wants time for the new patients? Or they just want to make certain time for special people. I think these are some questions that the author should speculate about. In the end, I would like the author to mention some of the rules that the department of dentists requires for some clinics; also, I want to know what he means by “people with factor health problem.
